The feed distributors are designed to be either bottom or top entry. The feed is distributed between two to six output streams without segregation, this means the equipment downstream receives the same particle size distribution without any bias. The discharge nozzles are fitted with severe duty knifegate valves, that can be adjusted to control the volume to each outlet. The feed distributor body can be manufactured from various materials depending on the application and are fitted with wear resistant liners including: rubber, ceramic, carbide plating or polyurethane. The pressure feed distributors have been in operation for many years now, some of the larger units operating in seawater applications are receiving rocks up to 16 inches in diameter without any blockages and are showing very little wear.
